Scaffolding is up and work is starting on the roof, east window and bell tower.

The east window tracery will be re-pointed in lime mortar.

The bell tower has some open joints which will need to be grouted before being re-pointed.

There are also a couple of saplings growing in the cracks which need to be removed before pointing.

The contractor ordered mortar samples from Lime Green and pointed three sample joints.

We chose the colour “stone”.
