I’ve just signed up with Wired-Gov to be on their Supplier Locator Service. They emailed me to say that they are currently recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who would be interested in dealing with enquiries relating to fast tracked, lower value Government & Public Sector contracts.
I’ve recently completed a small project for a community council in Wales, refurbishing some public toilets on a very tight budget. The picture shows the toilets before refurbishment.

Last year I helped a local parish hall committee by making a measured survey of their building. They wanted to know the size of the areas used for different functions inside the building. We drew up the survey and provided a plan to give them the information they needed.

It will be good to have the chance to do more work in the public sector.
