We have today received approval from Shropshire Council of the revised scheme for St John Weston Rhyn as a “non-material amendment” to the original planning application.  The new scheme fits a staircase into the existing lobby on the north east side of the church, and proposes an extension to the east to contain an accessible toilet.

The scheme will create an upper room at the east end of the church, with a screen dividing this area from the main worship space.
